At 6:00 am the devotees left Jagannath Mandira in Rajapura to Murari Gupta’s house. There the devotees heard from HH Sacinandana Swami about Srivasa taking shelter of Lord Nrisimhdeva when he was threatened by the Kazi; from HG Rajendrananda Prabhu about Atmanivedana (full surrender) which is the process of Antardvipa; from HH Bhakti Nityananda Maharaj about Murari Gupta’s devotion to Lord Rama and from a few other speakers. Right after Guru Puja the Parikrama headed straight to Mayapur at the location where the MAHA MILAN (the great meeting) was about to take place.
Gaurangaaaaaa!!!
Today was the last day of the Navadvipa Mandala Parikrama 2015. It was filled with various distinguished feelings. The devotees were radiating with happiness, and a unique feeling of accomplishment. One devotee said: “ This was the most wonderful experience of my life”. While others said: ”Let’s turn around and start again!” The feeling of separation from the Parikrama was also there. However what remained was a heartfelt understanding of gratitude to Lord Caitanya for having allowed all of us to take part in this life changing experience.
“Why do we do Parikrama? We perform Parikrama to gain memories or samskaras. Spiritual memories. Maybe when you in the kirtan in some very special tirtha you felt like , for a second you were transferred into the Dhama. Or maybe there was a time when the speaker was preaching with such love and conviction, that your heart melted. These memories are going to take you back home, back to Godhead.” HH Sacinandana Swami
